Dennis D. Norkey

Dennis was an animal keeper at the Brookfield Zoo when I was a curator there in the early 1970s. He worked in the Lion House and we immediately struck it off. He loved the animals, and he was an excellent animal keeper and a team player. I appreciated his upbeat personality and sense of humor. His medic stories from Vietnam were riveting. Dennis was a great friend and coworker and a bigger kinder animal lover. All of us and your country will miss you greatly.
