Dennis was an outstanding administrator of programs for blind children. I had the good fortune to work with him on research and leadership projects in the 80s and 90s and 00s. I admired his dedication and also his sense of fun. He was a valued colleague and his work improved the lives for many children with visual impairments. My condolences to his family and friends.
