Denver Shaw Obituary
He was born Oct. 21, 1961, in a Fort Smith Hospital but lived in Pocola. He was the son of Denver Fay Shaw and Ruby Donabee (Johnson) Mecom. He lived in Panama, where he graduated from high school, then later became a long-term resident of Spiro.
He is survived by his half-sister, Becky (Turner) Anderson and stepson, Lee (Josh) Jamison of Oklahoma City. Angela Roberson is a niece of Dennie's, and he has five nephews plus 14 great-nieces and nephews. His father, Denver Fay Shaw, passed away Sept. 20, 2017, two days after Denny.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home, Fort Smith.
A family-held memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro.
