Derek Allen Baugus

I had the pleause of getting to know Derek and your amazing family over the past two years. Derek was such a joy to see each time he came into clinic. No matter what was going on, he always had the biggest smile on his face. I know we all looked forward to seeing Derek whenever he had a visit. It was an honor to know and care for such a wonderful young man and what an impact he had on so many lives, mine included. I will remember his smile forever.

I am sorry to have missed calling hours yesterday evening as I would have liked to express my condolences in person. Derek was such a pleasure at each and every medical visit, sharing that fabulous smile even if you knew he was not feeling all that great. I met Derek at a 4th of July Celebration a few years ago and he left an impact on me that I will never forget. His wonderful smile was just amazing. The one thing that also stood out to me and touched my heart was the way that his family loved him so much and cared for him. I could feel the love that each of his family members had for him just by sitting and watching as they all took care of him and made over him. I could just see that he was so content and happy with his family all around...
