Triple D you know we miss you man. Rest easy.

Man....this is hard to sign we were best friends. I mean it's difficult to still believe you're gone wherever I was you were and the other way around we traveled all over together from Nashville to Atlanta. You will always be a part of my life if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have learned to truly live and have fun and experience life. Love you man i will never forget you and I will never forget you not even till I take my final breath. Rest easy friend

I remember standing outside of our dorms Saturday mornings going to the caf. He was always so upbeat and sometimes ppl needed someone else to make us smile.

I specifically remember him asking all of my friends to hang out one last time after graduation. Wow, Derek you will truly be missed but never, ever ignored.

My condolences go out to Derek's family. He was so sweet, generous, caring, thoughtful and a gentleman. We had maybe four classes together and he made sure if I didn't come in with a smile I was leaving with one. He will be missed; he was such a great person.R.I.P Lanite

Always up beat and vibrant one of the first people I met at Lane, and never changed! Respectful, honorable, loyal, are words that come to my mind as I reflect on our encounters! My Prayers go out to Derek Davis' family, friends, and loved ones.
