Dear Mr. and Mrs. Stanley,
One of the best memories of Derek I have is Anna's Birthday party when they were about 6. I remember there was many little children gathered around the kitchen table with big chef hats on helping bake Anna's cake. And there was Derek, the only boy at the party standing next to Anna with a huge grin on his face. He is what made Anna's day so special, they were the best of friends. Please know that our family is thinking of you. God sometimes puts more on our...

To The Stanley Family.
When I read the obituary of your son - as a mother, my heart broke. I experienced the loss of a brother who was 22 years of age in a tragic car accident, I was a senior in High School. That was nearly 26 years ago and not a day goes by that I do not think of Michael. I remember his funeral mass vividly. Even as a 17 year old I knew that he was in a better place. I knew that God would continue to use him in Heaven - as St Therese said" To do good on Earth" Yet the...
