Not sure what to say?

To the Perrin Family. I was very shocked to hear of "Fatboy's passing, last month. I've read all of the touching testimonials and I can feel thier pain. However, no one was as close to him as the people of hunkytown back in the early 60's. I was quite young then but still remember fatboy and sonnyboy coming over grandma bea's house after memorial day parades, and everybody made thier rounds from there to miss catherines. He will be gladly missed by the Arnett Family. And our thought's and...

The family of Derrick "Fat Boy" Perrin would like to extend heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the kind words of comfort expressed during our time of bereavement.

I so sad to hear about the man I thought of as my second Dad.

I am so sad to see that he is gone. What a great man and a great coach! All of us graduates from Lemon-Monroe High send you our love.

I am greatly sadden to hear of the death of coach Perrin. He taught many of the area youth over the years a little bit of what it is to be a man. He made peole better by knowing him. His guidence will be greatly missed.

Dane,
I was sorry to read that FatBoy passed away. Your uncle was an awesome man. I saw him every Saturday at Goldman Park for years back in the 70's when he played ball for the Barron's. He always made time to pass softball with me before or after a game and as a child I looked forward to seeing him at the ball park. He will be remembered by every life he touched!

To the Perrin Family,

I am so sorry to hear that Derrick had past away. I still can't believe it. I will pray for your family in this time of sadness.

Derrick, I can't believe your gone. We just talked on the phone a couple of weeks ago about my Dad passing away in February. It is such a sad feeling but I know your in heaven with my Dad having a good old time. You will be missed so much.

Dane & family,
Fat Boy played softball for the Barron's back in the 70's against my father who played for the Midd. Dental Group. Every chance I had to run up and talk to him he always had time to pass softball with me and he always put a smile on my face. Fat Boy was a wonderful man.

Big "D" and his family,
Holly and I send you are thoughts and prayers in this very troubled time. D you were more than a friend and fellow coach you were a loved part of my family, you were there for me when we lost loved ones . I still remember you coming into my hospital room and telling me to get out of bed and on my feet. When somebody asked me what you coached for me, after I thought a while I told them you coached people, you were the bridge that linked us to the kids and made...
