Dessie Arnold

Dessie was a friend whom I met through church. She always had a glowing smile, and I cherish the times that we were able to perform together. She was truly dedicated to God and her music. I am better to have known her.

Dessie was one of the very first people I met at Butler. We both studied violin with the great violinist Eddy Brown. Dessie and I won an appearance with the Butler Orchestra performing a Vivaldi 2 Violin Concerto. In between practicing we spent a good deal of time together. Dessie was one of the most extraordinary women I´ve had the privilege of knowing. Her deep thinking and insightful perspective in all things helped me through many periods of my life.
