Ms. Peggy and Ms. Doris, DeVane will missed by all. He was a good man and influenced many lives. I will always remember the advise and wisdom which he offered me when I was lost and needed guidance. It goes without saying, but we were so sorry to hear the sad news about DeVane. I (Mary) feel a special bond between the three of us - being "Georgia crackers". You two quickly became my favorite people in the Sunday School Class. I have a lot of regrets and one of them is not keeping in touch during DeVane's illness. Sorry we can't be at the Visitation today, but we have our granddaughter - we certainly plan to be there tomorrow. We pray that God will give you the strength...
