Dear Wood Family, I am so sorry to hear about Dewey´s recent death. I knew him in the 70´s and 80´s when I was growing up in Nelson County. His obituary is such a beautiful and perfect tribute to the larger-than-life character I remember from my youth. I can´t imagine the pain and loss that you must be feeling to have lost such an amazing person. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you along with so many others, as we all grieve the loss Dewey.

Dewey was a bright light, always shinning. He knew no stranger. Someone that will always be remembered with a smile

Sarah and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I thank God we all had the opportunity to know Duey and to spend time with him. He was a very special person, willing to lend a hand where ever he was and saw a need. He will be missed by all who knew him. Please know you are in my prayers.
