Diana Nicastro Obituary
90, passed away October 29, 2017 at the Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Louis Nicastro Jr. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late William and Victoria (Boggioni) DelPapa.
Mrs. Nicastro worked for New England Telephone Company. She was the mother of Louis Nicastro III (Donna D'Amico), Diana M. Litterio and Charlene Nicastro Nesbitt; sister of Lillian DelPapa; grandmother of John Litterio, Lisa Navarez (Jose) and William "Bill" Litterio (Nicole), Michael and Derek Nesbitt; great-grandmother of John, Natalia and Marco. She was the sister of the late William DelPapa Jr. and grandmother of the late James Dale Nesbitt.Visitation will be held Wednesday, 10-11 a.m. with her funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Grandma,
Where do I begin, you were my world, even though we fought here and there we loved each other, you taught me how to drive, u took me places I never thought I would see, u were my shelter, u taught me how to make your famous apple pie, and said my crust was better than yours, your own words. I learned many things because of u, plumbing, electrical, use of a lawnmower snow removal, property management, u were proud of me, we spent times together no one else did turning over apartments when they emptied, u did drive me crazy when I was painting a ceiling and u would call me down to see how great the tile came out in the bathroom, lol. I will cherish every memory and moment spent with u.
May you Rest in Peace, I will never forget you ever, until we meet again.
