I will never forget watching Dr. Shaw interact with my parents when he was treating my Dad in the hospital. He treated my Mom and Dad with such great respect as if they were his own parents. He was a champion for my Dad, having him air lifted to Houston when a local surgeon gave up on him saying we needed to accept there was nothing more to be done.
