Dinesh Shaw Obituary
Services for Dr. Dinesh Shaw will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 21, 2016, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Partain and Rev. Louis Sklar officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, May 20, 2016 and will resume from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Kramer Funeral Home.
Dinesh Shaw, M.D. was a respected cardiologist in Central Louisiana for over 20 years. He was passionate about his work and loved all of his patients. He will be greatly missed by the lives that he touched and saved.

WE LOVED AND RESPECTED DR. SHAW SO VERY MUCH. HE WAS MY DOCTOR FOR 16 YEARS. HE WAS SO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE . HE ALLOWED MY SON AND DAUGHTER TO GO INTO SURGERY WITH HIM WHEN I WOULD HAVE MY HEART SCANS SO THEY COULD SEE HOW I WAS BORN WITH MY VASCULAR SYSTEM FLOWING LEFT TO RIGHT. SUCH A PATIENT, HUMBLE MAN WITH SO MUCH LOVE FOR EACH OF US - AND IN TURN WE LOVED HIM BACK DOUBLY SO. I WILL MISS YOU TERRIBLY DR SHAW

I will never forget watching Dr. Shaw interact with my parents when he was treating my Dad in the hospital. He treated my Mom and Dad with such great respect as if they were his own parents. He was a champion for my Dad, having him air lifted to Houston when a local surgeon gave up on him saying we needed to accept there was nothing more to be done. My Dad lived another four very productive years, going back to work and enjoying life. Dr. Shaw was an exemplary doctor truly listening to his patients showing them respect and the best in medical care. He left no stone unturned and was the best of the best in his field in Alexandria. Best of all he exhibited a quiet humility. Though he was an expert in his field he was humble. A great example to all, a great man. He is missed greatly by the Monette family. Prayers for support and peace to you all.

Dr. Shaw saved my father's life when he had a heart attack in 2005. He was both a doctor and a friend who cared for his patients. He will be greatly missed. - Randy Williams

Dr shaw was a sweet and caring person. Took great care of my father and mother. Because the good care he gave my mother she will be ninety this year. You will be so missed. Prayers for his family and friends

Dr. Shaw's imprint on my family is difficult to memorialize in a few words. His caring nature and gentle spirit are reflected in the eyes of my children, in whom he invested much time and love. His pursuit of excellence in his work and the compassion with which he conducted himself are inspirational. We have all been bettered by the intersection of our lives with his.
