Years ago I watched designing women Loved it. I remember seeing ms. Carter in pal Joey and loving her Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered. However when I googled her name the part she played I. Pal Joey was not Vera who would have sung that song Would anyone know if she sang it at any performance or am I misremembering. God bless. Fran

I just discovered her in designing women she was a wonderful actress with a warm she is truly missed. I am glad that she is with her husband in heaven they make a beautiful couple.May they R.I.P not a friend but a big new Fan 2023 much

Years have passed but your legacy continues you make me smile so much. It 2023 I stay up at night to watch you at 11 every night what a wonderful person you portrayed it must be some of you in Julia seemed to be you really & i miss these type shows. Dixie was the terminator, the lady with class and sophistication the glue of commonsense rd by her
n through her holding the show together. She is a lovely southern belle, make no mistake about that! She is still missed but now with her beloved Hal beside her I hope eternal.happiness grabs hold of her. She made it to heaven like we all knew she would. Thank you for the fun, the laughs and the lovely music . You will.never be forgotten.
