Not sure what to say?

The only thing that comes to mind is that she was a wonderful lady and cowgirl, Was my privalage to be her friend. Lynn Messenger

I was placed into foster care when I was 14 years old. I had the privilege of spending some time in the home of the Dixon's. I have thought of this family many times over the years, have wanted to thank them for all they did, I just did not know how to go about doing that. I am saddened to see that Dixie has passed this year, I hope she knows how thankful I am for her and her families hospitality during that short time I was with them.

Dear Roy, Jared and Cam,
I will always remember Dixie and all of our fun memories growing up, riding the school bus, sleep overs, the many horse rides we would go on and being my Maid of Honor at my wedding. I am very sad to know that she had to suffer as she did, but she was so strong until the end and she is now out of pain. Ethel and all of Dixie's Family. Dixie was such a caring person if she was working with my animals of myself. She was so gentle and kind. I know no matter how treatment turned out, her heart was always with her patient. Thank you again Dixie.

Oh Dixie you were taken from us way too soon. We had a rocky start to our friendship but as with most things time heals most wounds. We became friends you have been a mentor, teacher, caregiver, and a great friend. You put up with days of Julie and I pulling pranks to scare you. Thanks for the fun memories and being there when I needed a friend. Love you bunches and will miss you always. Big hugs and love to Roy, the boys, and the family.

Oh Dixie! Your heart was always so full, even when you were in so much pain you were just as kind as could be!!
You will be missed terribly!!! But your in such a better place, where you don't have to worry, or bear that heavy burden any longer!
I will miss seeing you! But this isn't a goodby, more of we will see you later!!!!
Heaven is lucky to have you back home!!!!
I have been in tears since I got the news!
