Dolores Kirkpatrick "Dolly" Carroll

Dear Jack and all the Carroll Family: It was only today, November 20th, that I learned of Dolly´s passing when the U of R Alumni magazine arrived at my Indiana home. Dolly was one of the most beautiful individuals I have ever known. We were friends in Martinsville, Virginia. Dolly was beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside. A wonderful Christian who was always sharing her faith with everyone she met. She has a beautiful place in heaven.

There are so many words to describe Dolly, beautiful, devoted, caring always took a moment to say hello and genuinely interested in you ..always cheering for the underdog... such a beautiful soul and so terribly missed from all the many lives she has touched..sweet angel is with the lord

My best girlfriend of 35 years. I'll never forget her selflessness. She influenced me in so many ways, especially her unwavering faith in God, her devotion to family and friends, and her everpresent helpful and loving disposition. Missing her already.
