Mrs. Geekie taught me typing in 1976 at JFK. At first I thought she was stern and humorless, but I eventually caught on to her dry wit and sense of fun. She was a great teacher and a really caring lady. My sympathies to her family.

She was a great teacher! She was one of my favorite and made a life long impression. I had her for typing and accounting Junior and Senior years! Class of 90.

I had Mrs Geekie for typing class and accounting. Was one of my favorite HS teachers at JFK, Class of '87. Rest in Peace, prayers going to the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Geekie family. And yes, your Mom taught all of us girls at JFK.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I remember your mother fondly as she taught me shorthand at John F. Kennedy back in 1971. I have been an administrative assistant for 40 years and thanks to your mom she taught me my skills.
