I am truly sorry for your loss. The news came as a complete surprise to me. I still expect to see him working around the apartments, always quick with a wave, a genuine smile, and friendly greeting. It will take time to get used to his absence, but I believe him to be with Jesus which is a wondrous thing for him. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. God Bless

Growing up on Ayers Street across the street from the Racos was a blessing. Our neighbor hood was made up of mostly Irish , Italian and Slovak people with a melting pot of other nationalities. What a learning experience it was living across the street from two Italian families, the Racos and the Dercolis and next door to the Rangos. They were great neighbors and would do anything for you. A wonderful, gentle man that I was proud to call him "friend". He was more like part of my family to me as
is his family. We watched his children grow up to be be the adults that any parent could only wish for. My heart goes out to his family and most of all Colleen who will bear this loss forever.
