Not sure what to say?

Don added a unique dimension to the annual Car Crazy Promotion Car Show put on by our neighbor Carl Asaro. Both Don and the car show are gone. It was an event where old neighborhood guys had a chance to reunite. Life changes quickly and now we are in difficult times as seeing family and friends Is challenging.
Treasure life.

On the streets of the Excelsior District, we learned how to share, fight and love. Those roots carry all of us to that great person you are.

Always in my heart.

Don was larger than life and a true mentor and friend. I would not have made it through the academy without his support and faith in me. My career was a can of corn thanks to Don. I will truly miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cuicci family.

Chief Ciucci was one of my very first instructors at College of San Mateo when I decided to make a career change from nursing to firefighting. His enthusiasm for the fire service reassured me that I'd made the right career change, and i was extremely excited about my new journey. In that first class I met the love of my life. Little did Chief Ciucci know that in his class grew a new love story. We share memories about him all the time; I just wish I had the chance to thank him for it. He will...

DON WAS LARGER THAN LIFE AND A GOOD FRIEND SINCE I WAS 16 YRS. OLD. WE MET AS A PATRON OF MY DAD'S HOBBY SHOP. HE GOT ME MY FIRST JOB AT THE CITY OF DALY CITY IN l975 UNDER THE CETA PROGRAM AS I WAS FRESH OUT OF THE AIR FORCE DURING THE VIETNAM WAR.
WE SHARED MANY OF FOND MEMORIES OVER THE DECADES. MY HEART HURTS FOR HIS FAMILY. WE WILL TRULY MISS OUR WEEKLY TALKS FROM TEXAS AS GAIL AND I BOTH SPOKE WITH HIM OFTEN. WE WILL KEEP AND CHERISH THOSE LAST MESSAGES YOU SENT TO US, DON. WE...

Don was from the old neighborhood and was a close neighbor of mine. I knew his parents and grandparents as he did mine. It's not surprising he's a wonderful person; he came from good stock. His passion for cars far exceeded mine, albeit my Super Sport beat his Buick. His eye for detail and perfection and ability to achieve it is a rarity. I admired that in him. If we missed a few years in between we picked up right where we left off. He was always a friend, always friendly, and always happy...

Don was an amazing man to know, will miss him deeply. I got to know him through OSC which I was recruited in 2002-2003 as a volunteer & he always had the biggest smile and open arms. Our family will keep the Ciucci Family in our thoughts and prayers.
