Read MoreMy wife, Rita were best friends with Don during high school days. We remained in casual contact via e-mail later when we were in Hendersonville and he was in Asheville. Don and I once made a 20 mile hiking trip in the Smokies. As youngsters we spent some time in pool rooms. Don became quite proficient with a pool cue. He was a special person to Rita and me.
