Don Dexter

Just a good guy.

Don was one of my early mentors and gave freely of his time. We used to catch Don Playing with John Harmon at the Pioneer club. We would flood him with drum questions and he would finally say " There is more to life than Boom Chick ".

Always smiling and always busy . . . I miss all the late nite talks in the Beetle. God

Growing up in Appleton, Donnie and I were actual cousins and informal "kissin' cousins." We were always so very much in awe of his enormous talent on the drums. I can close my eyes and still hear some of his thrilling performances while he was in Appleton. Never got to see his performances with national music personalities but we were always aware of his success.
