Don was one of the most influential people that I have ever met. I am who I am because of him. I loved listening to his advise. He had a way with words. Somehow everything that he said made so much sense. I enjoyed going downstairs to his office to go over jobs because I would always learn something new and I would leave with a smile on my face. Don was a mentor and a tremendous father figure to a VERY young and naive kid with a young family. he had the ability to be tough and loyal at the same time. I am a better person and a better businessman because of him. He was a man of few words but conveyed everything he needed to with a look. If you want to know what a great teacher and businessman he was just look at his successful tree of business, whose branches are full of individuals he taught and mentored.
