RIP to the pitcher made the greatest game in MLB history and maybe even sports history happen
October 23, 2024
Don Larsen pitched the only perfect game in World Series history. On October 8, 1956, he took the mound in game 5 of the World Series for the Yankees against the Brooklyn Dodgers. Larsen needed only 97 pitches to get every single Dodger out and lead the Yankees to a win in that game. They would go on to win the World Series over the Dodgers in 7 games.
We invite you to share condolences for Don Larsen in our Guest Book.

Don was a great friend and customer. I will always cherish the picture with Don and Rocky Bridges. Corine, my prayers are with you.

We met Don and Corine when they first moved over from California. While they were building there home on the lake, we had the privilege of them renting out our family home on Lake CDA. They were very kind, generous, loving people. We enjoyed many hours visiting, dinners, and just hanging out. Our love goes out to their family and loved one. God Bless Don and we will see you again.

Corrine, Very, Very sad to hear about Don. So happy though that we all got to spend so many great and memorable times together. Please let me know if there will be a celebration of life. Ran across this picture - wonder if you've seen it recently. Much love to you and your family. Jerry Walker
