As a resident on Grandview Avenue, I have always felt a great confidence in being protected by Don Lewis and his ProTech officers. I did not know how very accomplished he was; he was truly a gem for the MPD and the citizens of Memphis.
I know his family swells with pride over his accomplishments both professionally and as a family man.

Dear Laura Ann and Family, I remember well the fun times I had with you and Don and children. I have kept up with your lives through Tom and Kathryne. My heart felt sympathy to you and your family. May God's loving arms surround you during your time of sadness.

Chief was a policeman's policeman, he came up from the bottom and never forgot where he came from. He was a great commander. He will be missed.

Firm when he had to be, but always fair. Honest and hard about demanding it from others. Compassionate toward those officers who had stumbled and fallen. He never turned away an officer who wanted to speak with him. He knew all of us by our first names, and genuinely wanted to know how you...
