All of our prayers go to the Sato family. Don was a good fisherman, a great poker player and one of the finest examples of a loving, commited parent I have ever met. His family will remain strong because of the values he left them. His community is a better place to live because of his efforts. And, on a more personal note, I am a better father because of his example.

I was so sorry to hear of Don's death. He was a warm, loving man, father and grandfather and will be missed very much.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Sato and Pfiefer family during this especially sad time. Don was such a sweet man. It’s comforting to know he’s now in a better place, his next journey is just beginning, and with his special spirit I’m sure it will be terrific! He’s still very much with us in our hearts and always will be. The prettiest tree in my yard, a Japanese Maple that I received from Don and Trudy years ago, is like my own living memorial. I’ll miss “Dad” too but will never forget...
