Not sure what to say?

Hi Mary, I can't believe it has been 6 years since Don died. I have many fond memories of Don and his Mom, Dad, and siblings. As you may know, I enlisted in the Army with his brother Robert and we spent 3 years together in boot camp and at Fort Eustis, VA. What you may not know is that I credit Don with inspiring me to quit farming, go back to college and change my career, which ultimately meant I spent the bulk of my life in CA where I still live. I lost my wife Joyce the day after...

Mary, I just saw this today and remember Don teaching me how to ride a horse and how to drive. He was a remarkable man and a great father figure to me from Waldorf Tanzania to SD. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to you and your family.

Mary,
Hard to believe 2 years have already passed. While we didn't often keep in touch as adults, I have many fond memories from our high school days. I was the fortunate fourth member riding in the car with Don driving and Shirley and Robert being the other passengers.

Dr. Abraham helped me to become a teacher of Physics and I have enjoyed a huge amount of success in my career thanks to this generous man. He was a mentor and an inspirational teacher and I wish I would have had time to say this to him in person.

I am very sorry for your loss. I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to play bridge against Don at tournaments and believe me when I tell you that a person's true heart often becomes visible in those events. Don had a heart of gold and my condolences go out to Mary and family.

Don converted me to physics my very first class, and entertained me with puzzles, like i^i=?, when I visited his office. He was a good neighbor, delightful conversationalist, sincere friend, and the most complete educator I have ever known.

Condolences and blessings to Mary and family.

Please be comforted by all your family and friends who love you so much. I have such fond memories of Don when he and my dad got together and went horse back riding on Boots, And all the great discourse on farming and other subjects; I only wish I had a tape recording of those conversations.
Just know I am praying for y'all today
