Not sure what to say?

I am always saddened to hear of the loss of a family member; even though only distantly related. My grandfather; Floyd "Bo" Balius, spoke often of Donald. My prayers are with all the family at your loss.

I am so very sorry to hear of your father's passing. I am thankful to have known him, as well as danced with him, for several years, at on of his favorite dancing spots, the Mardi Gras. It was very difficult to find a dance partner who could perform well and properly to the "Big Band" music, which he did so beautifully. He was a very sweet, respectful and genuine person, and always a gentleman. He will be greatly missed to all who knew him. You are in my thoughts and prayers for strength,...

Sorry to learn of your Dad and that I could not attend services. He always had a pleasant hello no matter where or when we met.

Donna,Noel,Don,Darel and Dann,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Donald was a great person and will be missed by many.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your father. I grew up watching Donald and my father (Herman Hebert) impressing everyone with their wonderful skills on the dance floor. The ladies, from 18 to 80, lined up to dance with them. When I was about 13, I lived on Church Street/Fred Haise Blvd (next door to F. Haise's family home) and down the street from Donald's home. I used to enjoy seeing and talking to your mother. She was such a sweet, beautiful lady. Again, I am so...

My deepest sympathy to all Dons' family members.
