I am always saddened to hear of the loss of a family member; even though only distantly related. My grandfather; Floyd "Bo" Balius, spoke often of Donald. My prayers are with all the family at your loss.

I am so very sorry to hear of your father's passing. I am thankful to have known him, as well as danced with him, for several years, at on of his favorite dancing spots, the Mardi Gras. It was very difficult to find a dance partner who could perform well and properly to the "Big Band" music, which he did so beautifully. He was a very sweet, respectful and genuine person, and always a gentleman. He will be greatly missed to all who knew him. You are in my thoughts and prayers for strength, understanding and healing. May God grant you His richest blessings.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your father. I grew up watching Donald and my father (Herman Hebert) impressing everyone with their wonderful skills on the dance floor. The ladies, from 18 to 80, lined up to dance with them. When I was about 13, I lived on Church Street/Fred Haise Blvd (next door to F. Haise's family home) and down the street from Donald's home. I used to enjoy seeing and talking to your mother. She was such a sweet, beautiful lady. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Biloxi won't seem the same without him. But, I have a feeling he and my dad are on a dance floor and happy again. Afterall, Heaven is a place of happiness and neither of them would be happy without dancing...

Donna, Noel, Don, Darel, Dann and Family

Words can't convey our sympathy for what you and your family are going through.

Our hearts are with you and your family as you face the loss of your Father. May the wonderful memories of all those happy moments and inspiration you received from him guide you as he has departed this earthly existence to be with the Lord.

When you experience a loss such as this it causes you to reflect on our mortality and the fact that we sometimes don't appreciate each other enough until they are no longer with us. It has been a long and sometimes difficult journey but I know that your Father is with the Lord and at peace.

Please know that although Tina & I are unable to be there, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. If there is anything that we can do, please let us know.
