Not sure what to say?

Professor Barry was not only a great professor but also a great human being. I still remember his classes decades after I took the classes. I have taken many classes with many professors through my degrees and Professor Barry in one of the best. He will be always missed.

Don was great intellect but more importantly a great person.

In 1977 I was unhappy with my state college political science program for an M.A, and I saw an advertisement on the bulletin board for Lehigh University's program. I went there, and Professor Don Barry interviewed me. He gave me a lot of encouragement at a time when I needed it. I had him for several courses, and I really enjoyed him. He was a fine gentleman! My mother and I once bumped into him in Bethlehem on a very special day: It was almost "synchronicity". Sorry this is so late,...

(I am a major benefactor - we both studied at Maxwell) he contacted me and was my lunch guest along with Theresa in NYC where I live. It was a joy to have seen him again after all these years and we spent hours not only...

To Dad, May you Rest In Peace.. We will always love you.. Dan & Danielle

Don Barry was my best friend from the 7th grade at Kirk Junior High School in East Cleveland. We graduated together January 1952 from Shaw High. He was captain of the high school basketball team, attended and roomed together and graduated in 1956 from Ohio University. He was best man at our wedding. We both went to Windermere Methodist Church. Don was baptized there. Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. Don believed that Jesus Christ was crucified for his sins and in His...

Don was very kind and supportive during the early stages of my career. I cherished his friendship.

Don Barry was my mentor and friend at Lehigh. He was a fabulous professor and strong supporter of international education. The world is a better place
because of him. Godspeed, Don.
