Not sure what to say?

As a team mate at SIU I am sad that he has passed at such an early age I have recently thought of him as the friend and teammate and the good times we had back at SIU RIP my friend I am sorry I am so late to say this

As we continue to give out a scholarship each year in our fathers name (J.W. "Bill" Scott) our love for Don and his family grows. He is responsible for starting this scholarship. We will always be grateful for the opportunity that he has given to so many graduates at Bloomington High School. Don's commitment to education and young people was remarkable. We are so honored his wonderful family helped us carry on this scholarship. We miss you so much Don. Love Jeff/Gay Scott, Janice/Jerry...

Don was a gift to so many. He was kind and generous to all who were fortunate to know him. Our family will always be grateful for the scholarship he started in our fathers name at Bloomington High School. Don was the person who walked into a room who never wanted attention but always observed and took care to listen and take care of others. His family was his true joy!

Our family remembers Donnie fondly for his generosity and remembering his roots. He started the senior scholarship fund at Bloomington High School, Bloomington, Illinois, in memory of our Father, J.W. "Bill" Scott who passed away in1967. It has helped and will help many students. Janice (Scott) Vitton and family.

We are so sorry for your loss. God Bless the family and friends of Donny. Our family is so grateful to him for establishing the J.W. Bill Scott Scholarship. We appreciated all that he did to make this happen and his continued support of the scholarship. Thinking of you, Be well.

Enjoyed working with him. A fine Man and a gentleman. He will be missed

Don was at Cary-Grove as a teacher while a I was a student there and I knew his as an insurance agent. I have nothing but fond memories of him always encouraging others. I am so sorry for your loss.

Don and his family were our neighbors growing up. He was also our insurance man thru the years. May Don rest in peace. Our deepest condolences.
