It would have been hard to find a friendlier or more kind person and fellow classmate at Scarsdale High School. How fortunate to have known Don during that time. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Don and I were summer next door neighbors on the shores of Great Pond, Belgrade Lakes,ME. We probably met as babies. Don spent the entire summer on this waterfront paradise, while I only enjoyed my father´s two week summer vacation. One week we learned to slalom water ski with his aluminum skiff and 7.5 hp outboard, then on the weekend his dad tested us with his large ski boat. One week my father left us with a small 10´ ft sailboat & an instruction book, and returned to find some...
