Not sure what to say?

Hey Dad...
How's it going? I've been missing you SO much! Our Angels made a good run for the World Series, didn't they? Damn Yankees! At least they were beat by the best, right? I see you've been busy with Notre Dame. 6-4? Not bad...and their losses have been close. Mike says you owe him $20 bucks on the Navy game. I'd like to know when it went from $5 to $20??? Ha! Mom is doing okay but you know she's missing you like crazy. So, what's your handicap these days? Haha...of...

Jo & Family
Our thoughts and prayers immediately went out to you when we heard of Don's passing. I'm sorry so we were so far away at that time and could not attend his service. Whenever I think of Don, the image that automatically comes to my mind was at one of the Duffy's first golf tournaments. I had just starting playing golf, so this was the first time I had ever had a converation with Don on the subject. I still have this image in my mind of how happy his face looked and how...

Dear Jo:

Our prayers for Don and sympathy to you and your girls.
Art & Bernie McKeown (and our girls Kit,Molly,Marijo, and Cara)

Hi,

My sympathy to you. I remember Don Frede from grammar school at St. Mel in Chicago, 1949 to 1952. Details are fuzzy, but I recall going to grades 6-8 with him, and probably we went to highschool together at St. Mel. I saw him often (probably we were in the same home room), and I remember we used to have an occasional tussle during recess outside between the church and the school building. It was good fun, and I don't recall anyone being hurt.

THINKING OF YOU DURING THIS TIME OF GREAT SADNESS AND HEARTACHE.

Dear Aunt Jo and West coast cousins,
I would like to extend my sympathy and support to all of you at this time, as an Irish legend, Don Frede is born into time forever. A man who's legacy will always be with us. One whose larger then life presence, has left each of us, a little part of his stout carisma. His confident walk and ways will be missed by everyone. Anyone who's ever met Uncle Don will know this to be very true.
I'm sure God has...

Dear Jo,Bob and family,
Ginger and I just learned of Don's passing today, and want to express our deepest sympathies to you and the family. I have so many wonderful memories of a great guy, who some 53 years ago was a "scrappy little Irish halfback" on St.Mel's football teams (both grammar and High School) and the many good times and laughs we shared, especially coming and going from practices; but much more importantly, I have so many memories of a great guy, with an enormous and very...

Jo,Bob,and Family,
We were very sorry to hear of Don's passing. The medical problems had to make his latter years very trying. He had to be very proud the way his family rallied around him in his times of need.
