Not sure what to say?

Gerry,
You and Donny were a strength for me as I visited my Dad everyday at Baker Manor in '04 and '05. I never saw a Mom so dedicated and determined to lift up her son after all else seemed lost. Thank You for your friendship. You and Donny will go on living in the hearts of everyone here and the world. I will miss him greatly. Till we all meet again. Much Love, Lois

To the Family & Friends of Don,

Love Lives On

Those we love are never really lost to us--
we feel them in so many special ways--
through friends they always cared about
and dreams they left behind,
in beauty that they added to our days...
in words of wisdom we still carry with us
and memories that never will be gone...
Those we love
are never really lost to us--
for everywhere their special love lives on

Gerry and her family, I just read Donn Esmonde's column in yesterday's paper. I am so glad you are recognized for your care of Donny. We pray for you, as well as Donny and our hearts go out to you all.

Linda and sons,
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Don and his wonderful family have been and will continue to be an inspiration to others like myself. All of you will have a gold star in your crown. God Bless you.

Please accept our most sincere condolences during yet another difficult time. Dad (Don's Uncle Fran) thought the world of you, Donny and your sons. Donny will live forever in our hearts and will be greatly missed by many. May you and yours find comfort in knowing that others share in your loss.

Debbie Herbert & son Shaun Herbert

I first met Don Herbert in the early 1990's when I was working as an EMT in Buffalo. I had the privalege of working with him on several occasions, and there was no one better than Don. His dedication, compassion, and pride in his work was, and forever will be an inspiration to all, and serve as example for all to follow. May the Lord be with the Herbert family and guide them through this difficult time. May he continue to watch over the brave men and women of the BFD.

Gerry, You truly are an inspiration to everyone. You and your late husband would spend countless hours every day with your believed son. Pushing him through the halls of Father Baker Manor. You provided him with a foundation that I stronly believe kept him alive all these years. You deserve more credit then what you have recieved. You are a remarkable woman, and through this difficult time - first losing your husdand and now your beloved son I think you deserve some credit for what you...
