Not sure what to say?

I was blessed to know him in two of his careers, banking and advertising. He was a natural leader. He inspired and challenged those around him (meaning worked for him) to do and be their best. Life was never dull when Don was around. My love and condolences go out to Lauri (the best thing that ever happened to Don) and his children. May he rest in peace.

Don Just was like my second father growing up in high school and college years! Always so generous and also passed on plenty of wisdom to me and Donnie as we worked our way through college and into young adulthood. May you rest in peace Don Just. You were the best.

I loved Big Don Just!! Wonderful Guy He will be missed Rob grimes

Don was a "One of a kind" guy. Feel fortunate to have known him.

Such an amazing person. Bigger than life. A natural leader. So very smart. Self-confident. Wicked sense of humor. Uncanny reader of people. The best boss I ever had. To watch him in action either as a leader or teacher was a true education. Succinct, crystal clear writer and speaker with a style that weaved in relevant and pithy flourishes. A dynamic, gifted, and giving man.

...Bigger than life, one of the smartest guys i have known ! Such captivating speaker..... he definitely left his mark on the business world.

My fond memories date back to his early career in banking. A gregarious friend and leader who surrounded himself with talent who became lifelong friends of many of us. Don loved life and lived it in those early banking days when I knew him best. I have fond memories .

Don was an incredibly talented mind and helped many he taught and partnered with to realize great knowledge, growth and success. I was partner with him throughout his life for 54 years and and so blessed to have been his "wing commander". He is no longer in pain. Pain in my heart for not having him here but happiness in celebrating his life as he moves on to greener pastures. My condolences, thoughts and prayers for Lauri´s courageous determination to care for him 24/7 during his declining...

To the family of Don Just: We are saddened to learn of Mr. Just passing. My husband knew him very well from Bank of VA. May each of you find comfort in knowing others care and feel the loss of your loved one. With Kind Regards, Mr. & Mrs. Patrick A. Kirby
