My name is Jerry Sauer. Donnie and I were close friends during our High School days. Although I had no contact with him after graduation his cousin Richard Pearson and I are still close friends and through him I was able to learn of his many accomplishments. We also shared the friendship of mutual friends like Dennis Collins and Doug Heder now both deceased. Each morning during our High School days Donnie would walk to my house, He lived on 38th and Burnham and I lived on 35th and Mitchell....
