Spinelli - Ricciuti Funeral Home - Ansonia Obituary

DERBY: Donald J. Margiano Jr., 48, passed away on December 30, 2018.

Don was born in Derby on October 26, 1970, cherished son of Janice Cavagnuolo Margiano and the late Donald J. Margiano Sr. Don was the first person to raise his hand when someone needed help and the first to arrive when someone was in trouble. Multi-talented, he possessed a brilliant mind and an unfiltered sense of humor. His adventurous and passionate nature led him to sailing, kayaking, and riding his Harley, as well as making mischief with his friends. Don was a conscientious employee of Nordco Rail Services and Inspection Technologies in Beacon Falls.

In addition to his mother Janice, he leaves his love and partner, Jane Angelica of Derby, his uncle, Raymond Margiano (Angela) of Georgia, his aunt, Janice DeNigris (Frank) of Derby, many cousins, countless friends and faithful canine companion, Jake. He is gone far too soon and will be greatly missed by many.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday January 5, 2019, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, including a 4:30 pm service in celebration of Don’s life, officiated by Francesca Sergi, at the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Don’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org or through the funeral home. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. We will love you and miss you always. It just doesnt seem real. Im heartbroken & in shock. Don had a heart of gold, he was like a brother to me. Ive known him for a long time, at least 25 years. Lots of love to Janice & sweet Jake - he loved them both with all his heart. Just know hes with you always. God bless him!
