Donald Margiano Obituary

Margiano Jr., Donald J.
Donald J. Margiano Jr., 48, passed away on December 30, 2018. Don was born in Derby on October 26, 1970, cherished son of Janice Cavagnuolo Margiano and the late Donald J. Margiano Sr. Don was the first person to raise his hand when someone needed help and the first to arrive when someone was in trouble. Multi-talented, he possessed a brilliant mind and an unfiltered sense of humor. His adventurous and passionate nature led him to sailing, kayaking, and riding his Harley, as well as making mischief with his friends. Don was a conscientious employee of Nordco Rail Services and Inspection Technologies in Beacon Falls. In addition to his mother Janice, he leaves his love and partner, Jane Angelica of Derby, his uncle, Raymond Margiano (Angela) of Georgia, his aunt, Janice DeNigris (Frank) of Derby, many cousins, countless friends and faithful canine companion, Jake. He is gone far too soon and will be greatly missed by many. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., including a 4:30 p.m. service in celebration of Don's life, officiated by Francesca Sergi, at the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Don's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or through the funeral home. To all that knew and loved Don, I am sorry for your loss. I never met Don. I spent years talking to him almost ever night. I am one of his online friends. We played online games together. For years a group of friends would come together almost every night and chat and enjoy one another. I did not even know Don's real name until now but mourn him like the friend he was. There are people the live around the world from each other that are sharing memories and tears about Don. Goodbye Mindfull you will be missed... The cyno is now lit.

My dear Janice,
I am in shock and at a loss for words. It is bad enough to lose a loved one however I cannot imagine the pain of losing my one and only child. My heart brakes for you. Remember that Don, Jr. lived life to the fullest and grabbed at all the life he could on on God's green earth for his very short time. Find peace in love you both had and shared with each other and that he is resting in peace. You will be in my thoughts and prayers all his loved ones too. May God bless.

Don will be missed. He was incredibly smart and had a sense of humor for days. He appreciated an inappropriate joke. From riding his Harley to being out at sea, he loved a good adventure. He traveled the entire United States on his Harley, solo for Petes sake! I looked to him for his knowledge of things and interpretation of situations. The obit saidnit best, the first to raise his hand when someone needed help. His dog Jake was his best friend. He will be missed...
