Not sure what to say?

DON WAS ABOUT 15 YEARS OLDER THAN I. I met him when I was a teenager, thew the dance world. He was in Donald McKayle's original dance company (1960's, I joined Donnie's 2nd company, in 1966). So we had close dance connections. I didn't actually dance with him, but was involved with him at LACHA and with several dance events, when I taught there, in the 1980's. Be Encouraged, family and friends Don Martin was an amazing friend and gift to us all. He shared the authentic Lester Horton with so many people: I was fortunate enough to have studied under him @ The Inner City Cultural Center. I have treasured memories, and I plan to plant a tree in his honor.

My first cousin, my friend. You´ll be missed.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love with me. I will always be grateful that your trusted and believed in me. You have always had giant wings, now you can use them to fly high above the clouds and amongst the angels and stars. You will always live in my heart.

Deepest condolences. What a talent, and such a lovely man. RIP Don!

May your brilliant spirit continue on in love, truth and peace!
