Not sure what to say?

I served in the Naval Reserve with Mr. Matchette for many years. He was the CO of MIUW 6-2 and as fine a man as I ever knew. He was easy going and soft spoken but had the ability to get the mission accomplished. My sincere condolances to his family.

Carol and Family,

You are in our thoughts and Prayers. God bless you. Gloria and Robert Phillips (Bobbi's Friend)

I remember when Don started with PRU.He was a go-getter from the very start and active in several activities, including golf.
Our sympathies are with all of his family at this time.

Carol,
I was informed late this afternoon of Don's passing. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. I certainly hope all is well even under these circumstances. As you probably know, I'm at Ribault now with a BIG CHALLENGE! But like everything else, I've placed it in devine order! Time for a reunion - keep in touch. LD (Bobby Ewing)

Thinking of you and your family.

To the family: I placed Mr. Donald Machett's Obituary on the Classmates.com site Message Board for his Miami High School Class of 1948. I also randomly picked 7 in his Class and sent the Obituary to them.

I am sorry to read about your loss. He must have been quite a guy and to have been an outstanding athlete on two Football State Championship teams is quite an honor in itself.

I have nothing but good memories of Don from my years with Prudential in Jacksonville. While we never worked closely together, he always had the information and willingness to assist when called upon.

My sincere sympathies

I didn't know Don well, but we were classmates at Miami High (class of '48), and I remember him as an outstanding guy and a terrific football player. May his memory be a source of strength for you always. With deepest sympathy, Eddie Siegel

To The Entire Matchett Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during these difficult times. May you find comfort in God's love as well as in the love of your friends and family.

Sincerely,
Veronica & Tony Rivera
