Not sure what to say?

Dear Teresa, Jake, Bill, Joe, and Families. My deepest sympathy to You All on the loss of a Husband, Father Grandfather, but most of all a Great Man. Great Guy, Great conversations, and a Outstanding Man that loved You ALL, along with the Game of baseball. May God's Healing hands reach out to Comfort, and Heal the Entire Mauer Family during this difficult time. RIP BIG JAKE.

Jake was a good man who loved his family. I just wanted to send my condolences to his family.

Our deepest sympathy to the Mauer family. Sorry to hear about the passing of Jake. We knew Jake from his coaching days of our son Chris and the boys teams at St. Columba. He was a very involved, loving and caring Man! I think the boys learned many things from Jake mentoring them. Like the skills to play sports but also many life skills to help them along the way. Jake will be greatly remembered and missed!

Teresa and family, so sorry to hear of Jake's passing. Jake was a great man, our memories go waaay back to St. Columba then St. Agnes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bobbi (Yecke) & David Fox

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Jake Mauer was always very nice to me the moment I meet him and I will never will forget that. God Bless.

Jake was truly an inspirational man His quick wit, infectious smile and hearty laugh was "trademark Jake" He never had a bad word to say about Anyone!!! (Except maybe that AL 3rd base umpire in the Twins playoff game against the Yankees that called Joe´s obvious double to left field a foul ball?? Ha!) Thank you Jake for all the thousands of hours you committed to youth sports coaching......through your leadership and guidance you made each of them not only better skilled in their sport,...

Big Jake was my baseball coach at St Columba for years. I will always remember his big heart and his big laugh. Such a great man and a great family. Prayers and condolences to the Mauer family. He will be missed.

Mauer Family, We are so sorry to hear of your husband, father, and grandfather. Jake was a great guy and he would talk to just about anyone who came up to talk to him no matter where you were at whether it be Fleet Farm or the ball fields. His present will be missed were ever you are going to be. May the love of God grant you peace, The love of Friends bring you comfort, and the love of your dear one live forever in your heart. Memories keep the one you loved close to you in spirit and...

My Dad schooled with John Mauer Sr. at St. Columba. I was school mates with John Jr. at Holy Childhood and we still hang out together to this day. We all know and respect the Mauer's and how they have contributed to our community in so many ways. May God Bless all the family and all the friends of Jake and may he rest in peace..and may all find peace soon. Bob Cardinal Roseville, MN
