Not sure what to say?

My name is Jim Ely. I worked with Don for about a year before he retired. During the following years he always stopped in my office to say hello and talk for awhile whenever he came by. I retired the end of February and Don had stopped by a couple of weeks before to say he was going to be out of town and could not be at my party. I am glad to have known him.

Panda & Steven I can't sign to tell you guys what a great husband & father Don was. I'm totally shocked reading of your loss today it's going to take some time to set in. I've know Don from our days at Collier's from the 60's. Linda I had I idea if there is anything you need or I can do please call me. I'm going to minis Don and our prayers are with you guys.

Don's Family, I worked with Don at Caltrans for many years. He was a jokester for sure. We had some great times at one another. I also live in the Lincoln area and once in awhile he would sneak up behind me at the store and scare the dickens out of me and then we would talk old times for hours. My prayers are with you all. He will be missed

Linda and family, I didn't realize when I met you and Don way back when I worked at Ace Hardware, that I would continue to have a running battle of fun bantering, Don was a master at in and won hands down at being the best at it. He spoke so lovingly about you. I'm gong to miss him a lot!

Kelley & Steve, Chris, Sammey, & Linda,
I just lerned of Don's passing. I am in Reno, NV for Chris's high school graduation on the 8th. Robin told me of Don's passing. My prayers have been with you all. Remember the good time.
Love Aunt Lynn

I admire my dad. He lived in challenging times as a child and in his young teens, but he overcame adversity and created a lifestyle others would envy. I'm grateful for what he gave us in life and he will be greatly missed. I love you dad.

Daddy-O, my father- in - law, will be terribly missed. He went too soon. ~ Kelley Rhyne
