Read MoreDon cut my father´s hair for years. He was always so kind. I was just a kid and always excited to tag along with dad for the visit. Mr. Schrader would often offer me a stick of gum or a cold soda from the antique 7up machine. I was thrilled by the neat glass bottles. Great memories.

I met Don back in 1985 when I moved to North Canton. He was a great guy. Always looked forward to getting my haircut in Don's shop. He was my barber until he retired in 2002 even after I moved out of North Canton. My condolences to his family. I am sure Don was a great husband, father and grandfather.

Don was an amazing man. Don and Ardella raised 7 wonderful children, and they should be proud of him.

Aunt Delly, so saddened to hear of Don's passing . My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember Don fondly. He (and you) we're always good to us Smith's kids especially after my dad's passing. I still remember when I worked as a cashier at the Truck Stop in North Canton and he gave me a ride in the snow at 6 am just so I could go to my job. Keep your chin up and God bless.
