So sorry to learn of the passing of Don Tidwell, condolences to the family. I was in the MHS Marching Band with Terry, sorry to learn of his passing as well. I have fond memories of the Burger Chef restaurant on Andrew's Hwy. in Midland where we would go for lunch break nearly everyday during school, Mr. Don always tolerated us kids with such patience. Burger Chef was my first job. Me,Joe Lawrence, Spider, Mother Mary ,Curtis,Dorothy all worked together making 15 cent burgers. I remember Don and his classic sideburns and perfect hair. He would come to the stores in his white and yellow MarkIV. Was a fun job. We started out at $1.00 an hr and proud to get it. Spent many of hours wIth Larry and Mike making burgers
