So sorry to learn of the passing of Don Tidwell, condolences to the family. I was in the MHS Marching Band with Terry, sorry to learn of his passing as well. I have fond memories of the Burger Chef restaurant on Andrew's Hwy. in Midland where we would go for lunch break nearly everyday during school, Mr. Don always tolerated us kids with such patience. I always admired Terry and Sherry as they were very popular among the student body in high school. Prayers for comfort to you and your family during your time of bereavement.

Larry & Mike, and family, I was sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. May the Lord be watching over you all, and heal your broken hearts. I remember you all from the old Shamrock Lanes, when we were kids, and we would bowl, race slot cars, and play pinball machines when we were kids in the 1960s. Also remember your Dad from Burger Chef. I still tell my kids, and Grandson about how good the little hamburgers were from Burger Chef, every time we’re there on Andrews Hwy. My family would order a big bag of burgers on a Friday night, and head to the drive in movie. Precious memories.

Burger Chef was my first job. Me,Joe Lawrence, Spider, Mother Mary ,Curtis,Dorothy all worked together making 15 cent burgers. I remember Don and his classic sideburns and perfect hair. He would come to the stores in his white and yellow MarkIV. Was a fun job. We started out at $1.00 an hr and proud to get it. Spent many of hours wIth Larry and Mike making burgers
