I'm so sorry to learn of Don's passing. I never met him in person but got to know him thru the numerous times we spoke on the phone. Don commissioned me several years ago to make him two custom fishing rods. He contacted me a few times a year thereafter just to say hi and chew the fat and was always cordial and engaging in conversation, a true gent and for this I considered him to be much more than a customer. Tight lines on that glorious trout stream in the heavens my friend.

I knew Don from the car business. Always great to do business with. He was a joy to know. We shared a birthday by one day and he never forgot. His smile will be missed.
Hugs to his family at this difficult time.

I met Don and Bonnie through his Golden Retriever Jessie. He loved his dogs. We became very good friends and we ended up breeding his dog Jessie to my Dazzle. It made him so happy and such enjoyment he got out of those puppies. You are reunited now with your beautiful Jessie. You will be missed.
