Although I have not seen Don in many years, I have fond memories of doing things with him while I lived in Mt. Gilead. We played football together at MGHS. Later on in the 1960s, we worked together at my oil & gas mapping company. He and Laverna were married during that era. I believe he went to work with Geyer´s when the Morrow County oil boom played out. I consider Don (Whitey) to have been a very good friend, athlete, and a very reliable, honest and humorous guy. May he rest in peace...
