Mark, Wanda, Donna, and Steve: It has been a long time since our days in Yourth Group at Perkinsville. Still in Boone, I see Steve from time to time. Your dad was a wonderful man. I got to see him a few years back at Ridgecrest and it was a pleasure talking with him. We lost dad a three years ago so I completely understand how difficult it is to let go. To all of you, my prayers for the days ahead. God bless all of you, ~John Cook Boone NC

Dear Steve and Members of the Wilson Family: I am thankful to have had the pleasure of meeting Pastor Wilson just a few weeks ago here in Boone. He was so engaging and alert, and greeted me warmly. None of us knew he was so close to going Home but, no doubt, he is rejoicing now like never before. May you all find comfort in the powerful and triumphant hope of Christ. >

I met Donald Wilson 34 years ago when he preached a sermon at Sunny Grove Baptist and then later at Glenwood Baptist. He always had a wonderful message to bring to us of our Lord and, after all of these years of telling others about Him, he has finally got to meet face to face the One that he told us about! What a glorious time for him! I know that you are all saddened by your great loss, and you will be in our prayers. May you find Comfort in God's loving arms.
