Not sure what to say?

Dear Bill, Sean, David, and Catherine, Today, as my daughter and I were driving through Troy on the way home from Vermont, I told her about a friend who used to live in New Rochelle. I told her how much I liked her, and how sorry I was that we had lost touch, except for Christmas cards, both of us having got caught up in our own lives. I told her that Donna was a very special person, kind and loving, organized and giving, a very together person. I decided to look her up on Facebook to...

Thank you to all who wrote these beautiful messages. I still read them. They still bring me comfort and help me remember the beautiful woman who was my partner in life.

God bless you all. Bill

Mr. Comiskey and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I played soccer many years ago with the boys and had Mr. Comiskey as a coach in AYSO. I also attended TES many years ago, although I do not remember if Donna taught there at that time or not. From reading all the entries and hearing what was said, she was obviously a phenomenal teacher, and will be missed tremendously! My heartfelt condolences on her passing... I know that no words can ease the grief you are...

Dear Bill & family, We were so saddened by the news of Donna's passing. She was such a wonderful, fun-loving person. She lit up the soccer sidelines at so many games as we watched our sons play. I cannot picture her except with a big smile, that great laugh, and a good word for everyone. You will have so many wonderful memories to keep with you at all times - hopefully they will eventually dull the pain of her loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bonnie, Bob and Dillon Colucci

My deepest condolences to “Mrs. Comiskey's” family.
I was fortunate enough to have her as my second grade teacher at OLV and I'll never forget what a kind and wonderful person she was.
I never once remember her raising her voice or berating us, despite how raucous we could be. I have many fond memories of her, but one that stands out… I sat in the front of the class and while she was reading us a book, I sat there listening and picking my nose. She caught me and simply touched her...
