My sister Donna came to visit us in Alaska and loved it so much she decided to move in with us, that was 45 years ago. Donna continued her career as a nurse; it was never hard for her to find a job when we were transferred. We often worked opposite shifts so one of us was always home with the boys who were toddlers. Donna was my older sister, and she came to live with us in 1981 or 1982. It started out as a visit and when it was time for her to leave, she asked "what do you think if I come live with you" and I said yes. After about a month our Mom & Dad had her all packed up, shipped her clothes to me and put her on a plane. That was 44 years ago. She was a mother to Alain & Scott and my best friend.
