Donna Jean Ramsey

I originally met Donna over the phone when I worked on the telephone exchange here in Melbourne when she came for a holiday / Brisbane commonwealth games in 1988 I believe. We continued to stay in contact through phone calls and letters. My husband and I visited Ohio in 1998 when Donna kindly spent a few days showing us around the area. We sporadically kept contact through the birth of my 4 children but I was so busy it was sometimes only Christmas cards. But it was that without fail...

I am so sorry and shocked to hear this. I didn't know Donna personally but saw a memorial at work and wondered what had happened. We only passed in the hall and I so wish I would have made more of an effort to speak. Just goes to show - reach out - I looked up today and found this obit - then saw that we share a birthday... My condolences to her family and friends. I could tell she was a sweet person.

Sorry to hear of Donna's passing. My memories go way back to Elementary School at Union playing on the play ground together.
